Orphanage Project

We Support Orphanages

We support an existing Partner orphanage that is located at Kijenge in the Arusha region. The centre currently cares for 54 children between the ages of 5 and 23 years. Out of the 54 children, 3 children have health insurance temporarily funded by the local community and the remaining 51 children have never had health insurance in their lives.

It’s a great honor and obligation to give all children in orphanage health insurance for the first time in their lives. This improves the life quality of each kid considerably

“If you promise your kids to protect them, life insurance is the weapon.

Founder’s Story

The centre started with the founder Reverent Yohana Y Mwampamba with his wife Mrs. Christina Mwampamba and they actually rent the place out. The construction quality of the centre is average for the exterior buildings but the interior needs some renovation as shown in the pictures.

They have 6 bedrooms to accommodate 28 girls with 9 double decker beds and 4 bedrooms can accommodate 17 male children with 4 male children’s double decker beds, which means three children have to share the same bed, which is not appropriate and comfortable for their health.

Here we need to support these children with more beds and mattresses and a large area that would be conducive to social and learning activities to create a meaningful home for these vulnerable children, so join us today.
We really need your support to accomplish this project.

And there is neither a study nor a dining room. And the quality of the toilets and bathrooms is poor as can be seen from the pictures.

  • The quality of the kitchen is poor as seen in the picture, the walls are full of smoke, the floor is so rough.
  • The condition of her floor in the men’s nursery.
  • Male bedroom where each bed sleeps 3 male children, here sleeps 12 male children.
  • Outdoor space that children made their wardrobe.
  • The kitchen cooks for almost 50 people.
  • Children eat in the open space outside the kitchens where they have built a roof and have few tables and chairs.

Let’s come together as Guardian Angels, Smile and help Foundation and all other people and give these orphans and vulnerable children a purpose in life so that they can be in a better place and be able to achieve their dreams here. Above all, we must support them with the following;

* Supporting this center with health insurance, especially that most children with health insurance are between 5 and 10 years old; clearly, it is the age of the low immunity group.
* Interior renovation as seen in the pictures, the floors are cracked and the walls are also cracked.
* Offer training specifically for the young adult group and learn to take responsibility and make a difference. Here we need volunteers with such talents or professionals. Become part of this movement by contacting us today.

In the Future we want to support with

Construction of more domitories for better comfort.( Seperate domitories for Girls and Boys )
Construction of more toilets and shower rooms.
Construction of a better kitchen with canteen
Construction of more classrooms and lounges

No where on earth Health insurance is needed more than here.

Many children in Tanzania lack good health care due to not affording health insurance hospital charges which further lead to more deaths for children. We offer health insurance to children in need.
